New Orleans Weather: Week starts dry, but rain returns by Thursday
SUMMARY: On this pleasant Monday, the weather remains quiet as we kick off the week. Expect warm temperatures around 89°F through Wednesday, with little rain. However, by Thursday and Friday, tropical moisture from the Gulf of Mexico is likely, bringing increased chances of rain. Although the National Hurricane Center anticipates low pressure formation, significant development is currently unlikely. The future trajectory of any potential systems is uncertain, influenced by steering currents. Meanwhile, hurricanes Isaac, Joyce, and a developing Kirk are also being monitored, with Kirk expected to become a major storm but remaining offshore. Stay tuned for updates!
We kick off the week and last day of September with warm and dry weather. The next few days stay dry with warm afternoons near 90 degrees.
