FOX13 INVESTIGATES: How to find your 'missing money'
SUMMARY: Many people dream of winning the lottery, but they might actually have unclaimed money waiting for them. Investigative reports show there’s a safe, free way to find this money via state databases, such as unclaimedproperty.nj.gov. Even if you don’t know you are owed money, businesses may have turned your funds over to the state due to lost contact. This could include unclaimed paychecks or security deposits. While searching for individuals owed money in Shelby County, investigators found significant amounts, urging the public to check their own eligibility. Always verify identity, and beware of scams that demand fees for recovery.
People dream about winning the lottery. However, there could be thousands of dollars in your name right now!
