Former USM baseball coach to serve as grand marshal for homecoming parade

SUMMARY: Former Southern Miss baseball coach Scott Berry will serve as the grand marshal for the university’s homecoming parade. Berry retired earlier this year after 14 successful years, during which he led the team to 528 victories, nine NCAA tournaments, and two super regional berths. In his final year, the team was just one win away from going back to the College World Series. Berry received this honor from the Student Government Association. The homecoming parade will take place on October 7th.
