Former NFLer Tommy Kelly takes over Lanier program
SUMMARY: Former NFL player Tommy Kelly has been announced as the new head coach for the Lanier Football program. Kelly, who played in the NFL for 11 years and coached at various high schools, is excited to take on his first head coaching job. He aims to bring his experience and expertise to Lanier High School and is looking forward to the opportunity. Provine alum, former Mississippi State Bulldogs and longtime NFL pro Tommy Kelly is the new head coach of the Lanier Bulldogs. This will be the first head coaching opportunity for Kelly who served as an assistant coach at Provine and Co-Lin the past 10 years after 11 years in the NFL.
