Former MGCCC QB Pat McQuaide discusses road to D-I
SUMMARY: Coast Community College quarterback Pat McQuade found success as the Gulf Coast State signal caller, leading the colonels to the 2023 South L Conference Championship. After throwing for 24 touchdowns with the Bulldogs, McQuade's journey, which included participating in the Manning Passing Academy, saw him move from Ohio to Mississippi. Despite initial doubts, he has found a supportive environment, especially with his family, including his brother who now plays slot receiver for the team. The transition from Kansas State to Mississippi was challenging, but it reinforced his passion for football. McQuade and the Colonels start the season with road games at Louisiana Tech and LSU.
