A former All-American linebacker at Jackson State, Jones also had success as a coach, serving as the defensive coordinator at Louisville for the last five seasons and winning three state championships. Former Jackson State All-American linebacker Javancy Jones is back at his alma mater as the newest hire to TC Taylor’s staff. Javancy is the new special teams coordinator and linebackers coach after a successful tenure as defensive coordinator at Lousiville High School. There he led some of the best defensive units in the state and won three state titles. The JSU product brings that success and his experience as a successful player who had a stint NFL to the current roster who hope to do some of the things he had able to do at Jackson State.
