Former high school band director arrested on sexual battery charges

The allegations were reported by the teen and a parent over the . Sanchez faces three counts of sexual battery, with evidence presented to the district attorney’s office. He served as band director at Stringer Attendance Center in the Jasper School District and was hired at Northeast Jones on July 1. According to Jones County Superintendent B.R. Jones, Sanchez is no longer employed by the district. Jail indicate Sanchez was released on a $175,000 bond.
