SUMMARY: A total of 23 senior standout prep football players from the “Southern Six” were selected for prestigious All-Star contests. Seven players were chosen for the Mississippi Roster for the Alabama/Mississippi All-Star Football Classic, including Zarion Brown, Ky McClendon, Tylan Carter, Amarion Tyson, Jamonta Waller, Noreel White, and Chris Davis. The game will be held on December 16 at the University of Southern Mississippi. Additionally, 16 seniors from the “Southern Six” were selected for the South Roster for the Bernard Blackwell North/South All-Star Football Game. Gulfport head coach Blake Pennock will be the head coach for the South Team. The game will take place on December 9 at Milner Stadium in Gulfport.
