“Back to Back” Hurricanes Causing Many Issues in Tampa Bay Area

Many homes were inundated with saltwater and freshwater flooding, leading residents to discard their belongings curbside. Thankfully, water levels have receded after extensive search and rescue efforts. However, over two million customers in the state, particularly in the Tampa Metro area, remain without power, and there are ongoing water pressure issues and boil advisories in certain regions. Essential services, including airports and bridges, have resumed, but clean-up operations continue with safety precautions advised against mosquito breeding.
