First We Rock The Spectrum gym in Mississippi opens in Tupelo
SUMMARY: A new sensory-friendly gym, “We Rock the Spectrum,” held its grand opening in Tupelo, Mississippi. Co-owners Rie and Daniel Rogers introduced the gym, which features a zipline, trampoline, rock wall, and a “plate with purpose” wall. This facility aims to provide a safe, inclusive space for all children, including those on the autism spectrum. It's the first of its kind in Mississippi, contributing to the chain's 165 locations across 33 states and eight countries. The project began about a year ago, inspired by a TikTok video showcasing the need for such a space in North Mississippi.

Interview: MHP’s Sgt. Bryan McGee talks Fourth of July travel safety
SUMMARY: The 4th of July holiday is in full swing, with many people already traveling despite the holiday being on Thursday. The Mississippi Highway Patrol is also actively patrolling to ensure safety. Staff Sergeant Brian McGee from Troop F emphasized the importance of public safety, urging travelers to wear seat belts, avoid drinking and driving, and stay aware of their surroundings. This year, the focus is on achieving zero fatalities, with extra units patrolling. Additionally, a job fair will be held on July 13th from 10 to 12 at their New Albany substation.
