Rain ends early evening with humid conditions overnight. Tomorrow sees mid-upper 80s and a 20-30% chance of showers. The heat and humidity will continue into the week. Two tropical areas are being monitored, though not posing imminent threats. Rainfall is below monthly average but above annual norms. Hot and humid weather will persist through the week.

The Mississippi State Department of Health reported that areas west of Airport Road, including Pearson Road, The Outlets, and Trustmark Park, are no longer under the notice. The boil water notice was issued Thursday after a failed monthly routine water sample.

It may develop into the first hurricane of the season due to favorable conditions like low wind shear and warm waters. Forecasts show the storm continuing west towards the Caribbean, potentially reaching Jamaica, but high pressure could block its path towards the Gulf of Mexico. Temperatures are currently in the 70s and 80s with high humidity, making it feel much hotter. Heat advisories are in effect, with temperatures expected to feel like 105-110°F this weekend. Some rain relief is possible, but heat will dominate.
