Final RS-25 engine test paves way for use in Artemis space missions
SUMMARY: NASA conducted a milestone test at Stennis Space Center for the RS-25 engines that will carry people back to the Moon and beyond. The test was a significant step towards certification for use in the Artemis missions. The goal is to use these engines on the Artemis II mission in 2025, which will be the first crewed mission in SLS with four crew members in the Orion spacecraft. Sports Betting in Mississippi
SUMMARY: Mississippi is moving closer to legalizing mobile sports betting after the House passed a supportive bill. Currently, residents can only place bets at casinos, but this legislation could change that, particularly ahead of the Super Bowl, one of the most heavily wagered events globally. While mobile betting won’t be ready in time for this year’s game, there’s significant demand, with nearly 9 million attempts to access mobile sportsbooks noted. If approved, the bill could generate millions in annual revenue for the state, thanks to a proposed 12% tax on mobile bets, benefiting all 82 counties.
