Feed the Needy is gearing up to deliver 1,500 meals on Thanksgiving Day — and they could use your help.

Law enforcement agencies in Harrison County are spearheading the effort — taking donations and signing up people to receive the meals that are boxed up and delivered Thanksgiving morning.

Last year, the group sent out more than 1,000 meals. This year, they topped that mark by almost 500.

But that also means they need some help getting those meals to those who might otherwise go hungry on Thanksgiving.

SUMMARY: Expect significant delays on Coast Transit Authority (CTA) fixed routes from April 11-14, 2025, due to Spring Break traffic on Highway 90 and Pass Road. A temporary Express Route will operate nonstop between Gulfport and Biloxi Transit Centers via I-10, starting April 11 at 1:00 p.m., with departures every 45 minutes until 7:45 p.m. The Beachcomber will have limited service, ending early on Friday and having no service on Saturday and Sunday.
