Federal probe at Tyson: Child labor allegations prompt search of Arkansas facilities
SUMMARY: On September 11, U.S. Department of Labor investigators executed search warrants at Tyson Foods processing facilities in Rogers and Green Forest, as well as the corporate office in Springdale. Hurricane Milton kills at least 16 as crews work to rescue survivors
SUMMARY: Hurricane Milton has caused at least 16 fatalities, with unprecedented rainfall of nearly 19 inches in St. Petersburg, Florida. This is about ten times the typical October amount. In Tampa, over 135 residents from an assisted living facility were rescued as parts of the city were submerged. Hillsborough County’s rescue efforts involved numerous responders using high-water vehicles and boats to assist families. Many, like Oscar Valdera, lost everything, with significant water damage reported. One resident, Yamet Bario, described her distress as flooding entered her home, emphasizing the immense hardship faced by those affected in the neighborhood.
At least 16 people are dead as a result of Hurricane Milton. The storm dumped an incredible amount of rain, including nearly 19 inches in St. Petersburg, Fla.

Arkansas National Guard gearing up for trip to Florida

Former Kirksey Middle School teacher & coach arrested
