FBI searches house connected to Mica Miller's husband
SUMMARY: The FBI executed a search warrant at the home of Solid Rock Pastor John Paul Miller, following the controversial death of his wife, Micah Miller, ruled a suicide in April. The couple was undergoing a divorce, and Micah’s family had accused JP of abuse. Public outcry and protests demanded a thorough investigation into her death. FBI agents were observed removing plastic evidence bags from the home, while unmarked vehicles were staged outside. The FBI’s involvement followed a request for assistance from local authorities, although JP Miller has not been charged with any crimes related to Micah’s death.
The FBI is conducting “court-authorized law enforcement activity” at a home connected to John-Paul โJPโ Miller, an FBI spokesperson confirmed to ABC15.
John-Paul, a pastor at Solid Rock Church in The Market Common, was married to Mica Miller, who died by suicide at Lumber River State Park in Robeson County on April 27.

Women outnumber men during early voting
SUMMARY: Election Day for the 2024 presidential race is tomorrow, with a close contest between Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump, each receiving 49% support from registered voters and 2% undecided. Early voting trends show higher female turnout, particularly in key states like South Carolina, Georgia, and North Carolina. Experts predict the gender gap could exceed ten percentage points this election, emphasizing women’s preference for issues like healthcare and alignment with the Democratic Party. With record early voting in those states, showing up at the polls will be crucial in determining the election outcome.
Early voting numbers show that more women than men are showing up at the polls. A local political expert says this could sway the election.
