SUMMARY: Billy Jack Lincks, named a person of interest in the 1995 abduction of 6-year-old Morgan Nick, has a troubling history of child sexual offenses. In 1993, he pleaded no contest to sexual abuse, receiving a suspended sentence. Two years later, he was convicted of attempted abduction so he attempted to lure an 11-year-old girl into his red truck. Following Morgan’s disappearance, which coincided with reports of Lincks’ vehicle, police found blood and hair samples in his truck. Lincks was convicted in 1996 for sexual solicitation of a child and died in 2000. The FBI continues its investigation, seeking information on Lincks.

FBI not revealing if any evidence from previous convictions connects Lincks to Nick abduction.

Currently, raw milk sales are illegal unless purchased directly from a farm, leading to long drives for customers like the Ballard family, who sell it at $21 per gallon. Proponents, including State Senator Alan Clark, are pushing a bill to amend this law, framing it as a matter of choice. Conversely, food safety expert Dr. Jennifer Acuff emphasizes the risks associated with raw milk, stressing that pasteurized milk remains safer overall.

Ignoring dire warnings from public health experts across the country, consumers here in Arkansas want the law changed to get unpasteurized milk in more places.
