FBI National Academy of Associates tabs former Gulfport police officer as president

SUMMARY: Craig Petersen, a former deputy chief of the Gulfport Police Department, has been appointed as the president of the FBI National Academy Associates (FBINAA) during a ceremony in Kansas City, Mo. Petersen, who retired in June 2022 after 25 years of service, succeeds Scott Rhoad and has been actively involved with the FBINAA, previously serving as vice president and as president of the Mississippi chapter. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern Mississippi and a Master’s in Social Justice and Criminology from Delta State University. The FBINAA consists of over 14,000 law enforcement professionals.

Memphis man found guilty of murdering former Southaven football player
