Evening Forecast 9/28/2024
SUMMARY: The weather in the area remains dreary with continued light rain, particularly in northeastern regions. Although it was less windy than the previous day, wet roads and low-hanging clouds persist. Showers are expected overnight and throughout Sunday, with rainfall amounts varying across locations. Monday will see lingering spotty showers before chances decrease on Tuesday. The low pressure system leftover from Hurricane Helen will contribute to the drizzle, but by mid-week, conditions are set to improve with sunshine and warmer temperatures approaching near 80°F by next weekend, bringing a break from humidity.
