Employees told to walk off job at Fulton County Jail | FOX 5 News

SUMMARY: Strategic Security Corporation, which employed around 80 security officers at the jail, terminated its operations due to unpaid bills from the Fton County Sheriff’s Office, amounting to nearly a million dollars over three months. Sheriff Pat Labat acknowledged the financial issues, linking them to historical underfunding of the office. Although Strategic Security ceased services officially at 5 p.m., they instructed their employees to leave earlier. Sheriff Labat has since offered jobs to 47 of the displaced workers from Strategic Security.
