Emotional funeral for 11-year-old shot by mom | FOX 5 News

Despite the tragedy, they vowed to cherish McKenzie’s vibrant spirit and love for life, celebrating the positive impact she had on those around her.

Family and friends came together Saturday to share heartwarming stories about Makenzie Briddy and say their goodbyes to the 11-year-old girl who was killed by her mother in what DeKalb County police called a murder-suicide. Briddy touched the lives of many.
