MVSU is led by first team all preseason pick Sh’Diamond McKnight as they look to turn heads this year. Grambling was picked to win the league, JSU fourth and Alcorn State 7th in the preseason poll. Alcorn State’s Destiny Brown was picked as the Offensive Player of the Year while her teammate Zy’Nia White as a second team selection.
