Elephant at Little Rock Zoo passes away
SUMMARY: Sophie, the Asian elephant, has sadly passed away after initially being placed in hospice care earlier this year due to a disease affecting her uterus. While most elephants do not survive long with this condition, Sophie managed to defy the odds for some time. Her remarkable spirit and resilience were celebrated, but unfortunately, she could not overcome the illness.
The Little Rock Zoo stated they will be closed to guests on October 28 after staff announced the passing of their beloved elephant Sophie.

Central Arkansas nonprofit receives $900K grant to make roads safer

Legislation introduced to reduce prescription drug shortages | Virginia
