Elementary School in Biloxi surprises principal for 50th birthday with sock-hop celebration

SUMMARY: Traci Kessler, the principal of Nativity of BVM Catholic Elementary School in Biloxi, is celebrating her school’s 50th anniversary. To honor the occasion, the faculty and staff threw a surprise party in the school’s gymnasium. Students dressed in 50’s attire and enjoyed games, drinks, refreshments, and a birthday cake. The party had a sock-hop theme as an ode to Cruisin’ the Coast. Traci Kessler expressed her happiness and gratitude for being the principal and looks forward to continuing at Nativity for quite a while. She has served as the school’s principal for five years.

‘Tragic accident’: Officials reveal new details in death of 6-year-old Gracelynn Vick
