Editorial: Thanksgiving conversations
SUMMARY: Despite the divisive nature of post-election discussions, the November Thanksgiving table may find common ground in Mississippi football rivalries. With fervent fans from rival schools like Jackson State, Alcorn, Mississippi State, and Ole Miss, families often split in their allegiances yet come together to watch games side by side. The spirit of camaraderie and respect for differing viewpoints can help maintain harmony during Thanksgiving gatherings, emphasizing the importance of family bonds over political disagreements. The message is clear: prioritize relationships and enjoy shared moments, even amid contrasting opinions.
