SUMMARY: A pep rally in downtown Jackson will kick off in about 30 minutes, celebrating the upcoming Celebration Bowl Parade starting at 6 PM. With inflatable tunnels and confetti, community members are excited to support the team and boost morale. Athletic Director Ashley Robinson announced a $2 ticket increase this season to fund team enhancements, reflecting strong community backing, as fans express a desire for even greater contributions to support the team’s success.

SUMMARY: The annual talent show at Lanir High School will be hosted by Stan the Man Branson from WKXI Radio this Friday. Saturday features a parade starting at 10:00 a.m. from Historical Freedom Corner, with lineup at 8:00 a.m. at Brinkley Middle School. Sunday, attendees will go to Reverend Joa Washington’s Old Strangers Home Church for a service. Monday will include the Land of the Reef ceremony at Freedom Corner, followed by cake and punch at City Hall, accompanied by a choir from New Jerusalem.
