Eastern Shore Camera Club hopes to inspire during Members Exhibit
SUMMARY: The 14th annual members exhibit of the Eastern Shore Camera Club opens tomorrow during Fair Hope’s Art Walk, showcasing stunning photography at the Eastern Shore Art Center. Judges have selected winners for Best in Show, Best Use of Color, and Best Black and White. Visitors are encouraged to vote for the People’s Choice Award. The exhibit runs from 6:00 to 8:00 PM tomorrow until October 26. Attendees can purchase their favorite pieces, including a captivating photograph of a spider that one judge found surprisingly beautiful, despite their personal aversion to spiders.
Photography developed by the camera lenses of amateurs and professionals alike will be on display for the opening night of the 14th Annual Members Exhibit of the Eastern Shore Camera Club during Friday’s Art Walk in downtown Fairhope.

Drier and warmer weather moves into Central Alabama for the week ahead
SUMMARY: This morning features mostly dry conditions as rain diminishes, with good visibility reported from various sky cams. Current temperatures are around 73 degrees, with Gadsden reaching near 70 and some breaks in the clouds. Spotty showers may occur but widespread rain is unlikely. Today‘s highs are expected to reach 82 in Birmingham, with even warmer temperatures of 85 in Attalla and 86 in Jacksonville. Tomorrow will see further drying, with summer-like temperatures persisting through the middle and later parts of the week, with highs in the upper 80s expected Wednesday through Friday.

Police Searching For Missing Teen | September 15, 2024 | News 19 Late Edition
SUMMARY: Authorities in Athens are searching for 18-year-old Savannah May Austin, reported missing since September 14th at around 8:30 PM. The Limestone County Sheriff’s Office is seeking public assistance in locating her, as her condition may impair her judgment. Savannah is described as 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing 148 pounds, with hazel eyes and brown hair. Notably, she has two piercings on her nose. Anyone with information is urged to contact the sheriff’s office.
The Limestone County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help searching for a missing 18-year-old female.

One Injured After 4-Wheeler Wreck | September 15, 2024 | News 19 Late Edition
SUMMARY: A four-wheeler accident occurred this morning in Lacey Spring, resulting in one injury, according to the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office. The incident took place on Lower Dry Creek Road.
