Durant man sentenced for bank robbery
SUMMARY: Curtis Lee Williams, a Durant man, has been sentenced to 44 months in federal prison for bank robbery and ordered to pay $6,506.00 in restitution. Williams robbed a bank in Durant and used one of the stolen $50 bills to purchase firearms from a pawn shop. He was arrested following a traffic stop on the same day as the robbery. Williams was indicted by a federal grand jury, pled guilty, and was investigated by the FBI and Durant Police Department.
