LMPD investigating after man shot to death near Park Hill and California neighborhoods
SUMMARY: LMPD is investigating a fatal shooting that occurred just after 7:30 PM near the California and Park Hill neighborhoods. Police responded to a ShotSpotter alert on West Oak and Doctor W.J. Hodges Street, where a man was found shot multiple times and pronounced dead on the sidewalk. Authorities are seeking public assistance, emphasizing that numerous witnesses were present at the scene. They highlighted the need for help in solving this homicide, as well as several others that have occurred recently amid increasing violence in the area.
