Drug Overdose Awareness Day: Recovering addicts reflect on their journeys

Austin Faunce, a young man who is no stranger to addiction, spoke with members of the Home of Grace Recovery Center to see why awareness to this issue is so important. Faunce describes addiction as a terrible monster that chews you up and spits you out, creating a cycle. The declaration aims to bring awareness to the heaviness addiction has on a person’s life and to bring attention to this issue.

Owner of historic downtown Bay St. Louis home speaks out following devastating house fire
