Driver sought in hit-and-run that led to horse’s death in Clay County
SUMMARY: In Clay County, authorities are searching for a hit-and-run driver who severely injured a horse, leading to it being put down. Sheriff Eddie Scott reported that a small red truck struck a horseback rider on Old Waverly Road last night. The rider was unharmed, but the driver fled the scene. They only require information, not the caller's identity.

Local Miss Hospitality titleholders prepare for state program
