Driver rescued after semi truck rolls over in Pembroke Pines

SUMMARY: Pembrook Pines US 27 has reopened after a rollover on Pines Boulevard. The crash, which occurred in the afternoon, caused significant traffic delays for several hours. The driver was trapped inside the vehicle and required rescue but suffered no injuries. However, emergency crews reported a leak of of diesel fuel onto the roadway.

No one else was during the crash but crews said gallons of diesel leaked out onto the road.

Poll shows Trump, Scott leading in Florida | Florida

SUMMARY: A Florida Atlantic poll shows former leading the presidential race with 53% , to Vice President Kamala Harris at 44% and 2% undecided. This represents an improvement from his 2020 performance. The poll also indicates incumbent Senator Rick Scott a four-point over Democratic candidate Debbie Mucarsel-Powell, with Scott at 50% and Mucarsel-Powell at 46%. Additionally, 60% of voters support Amendment 3 for recreational marijuana, while Amendment 4 on rights is at 58%, two points shy of the required approval. The poll was conducted from October 19 to 22.

Kissimmee news conference in response to Grand Jury findings

Tampa Bay area workers struggle to find employment after Helene and Milton
