Donald Trump & Kamala Harris discuss key issues ahead of upcoming election
SUMMARY: Trump asserts that his protectionist policies, including tariffs on goods entering the U.S., will benefit the economy by generating significant revenue for the Treasury, claiming it will not lead to inflation. However, Vice President Harris’s campaign counters this with a statement from over 400 economists indicating that Trump’s tariffs and mass deportation plans would drive prices up. While Biden attends the UN General Assembly, Harris, in a radio interview, emphasizes her commitment to restoring abortion rights by eliminating the Senate filibuster, advocating for a simple majority to ensure reproductive freedom and personal autonomy over one’s body.
