Azle teen becomes first person in Tarrant County convicted of murder for dealing fentanyl
SUMMARY: Kaden Ferish, a 19-year-old man, made history as the first individual in Tarrant County convicted of murder related to fentanyl distribution, after his actions led to the overdose death of 17-year-old Dustin Anderton in January. Prosecutors successfully utilized a newly enacted fentanyl murder law, which allows for murder charges against those whose drug dealing results in death.
