Doctor explains why you should wear a winter coat—even in Houston!
SUMMARY: The weather has been fluctuating, with temperatures ranging from the 80s to the 40s. These changes can lead to illnesses like colds and the flu. To protect yourself, meteorologist Britney Begley recommends wearing winter coats, hats, and proper footwear, especially in colder weather, as they help regulate body temperature and prevent infections. Wet hair doesn’t directly cause sickness, but it can contribute to coldness and weaken the immune system. Cold temperatures can also affect the body, leading to illness. Additionally, it’s important to practice good hygiene during flu season, especially when handling food.

Wearing a coat and going outside with wet hair can lead you to get sick, even in Houston.

Georgetown pub subject of new ‘Kitchen Nightmares’ episode | FOX 7 Austin
