Dixie Electric lineman helping restore power in Florida week before wedding
SUMMARY: A crew of 19 Dixie Electric linemen is in Florida assisting with power restoration after Hurricane Milton. Among them is lineman Brady Krill, who is scheduled to marry Emily Holder in less than a week. Despite the proximity to their wedding, Krill chose to help others during the crisis. Holder, who has been planning their wedding for 14 months, arranged for her aunt to drive Krill back in time for their vows. She empathizes with other women whose partners are unable to return soon. Meanwhile, donations for hurricane relief are encouraged through a partnership with the Salvation Army.
