Dixie Electric hosting third annual student art contest
SUMMARY: Dixie Electric Power Association is getting ready for its third annual student art contest, open to 7th through 12th grade students who are members of the association. The contest is seeking artwork related to electric safety or cooperatives, rural electric power, or linemen. The first place winner will receive $250 and have their artwork featured in various media outlets. The association aims to give talented students the opportunity to showcase their work and inspire them to pursue art. The deadline to submit artwork is in March.
