DIRECTV subscribers will miss football games on WJTV/WHLT: Here’s why
SUMMARY: The New Orleans Saints and the Tennessee Titans will face off in the first game of the NFL regular season. However, DIRECTV customers may not be able to watch the game due to a dispute between Nexstar and DIRECTV. WJTV & WHLT, the channels broadcasting the game, were forced off the DIRECTV lineup. The article advises DIRECTV customers to call the company and demand the channels be restored. Alternatively, customers can switch to another cable or satellite provider, or use streaming services like YouTube TV and Hulu. Local restaurants and sports bars may also be showing the game.
