DIGITAL DESK: Coast Coliseum going cashless, raising parking price to $10+
SUMMARY: The price for event parking at the Coast Coliseum will be increasing from $5 to $10 starting in October. However, this change may come with added convenience, as parking fees can now be paid with a credit or debit card. Additionally, all concession vendors, including the parking attendants, will no longer accept cash payments. These changes have been implemented after the addition of more parking spaces and upgrades to the lighting in the parking lots. Despite the price increase, large crowds are still expected at upcoming events at the Coliseum.
