Did You Know Elvis Was a Rancher and Cattleman?
SUMMARY: Elvis Presley, the legendary King of Rock ‘n’ Roll, owned a lesser-known horse and cattle ranch in Horn Lake, Mississippi, called the Circle G Ranch. Elvis and his wife Priscilla honeymooned there and spent the first two years of their marriage on the property. Spanning 231 acres, the ranch provided a peaceful retreat away from the limelight. Elvis bought the ranch in 1967 and sold it in 1972. Despite not owning it for decades, his presence remains, and fans erected a historical marker there. Plans are underway to restore the property to showcase another side of Elvis’s life.
