D’iberville Police partner with Homeland Security Investigations

D'Iberville Police in Mississippi are cracking down on shoplifters, with 90 related arrests made recently. Retail officers, assigned to all businesses and the prominent shopping center, are in charge of taking reports and investigating these crimes. The business community has access to two designated police officers, and they partner with Homeland Security to collaborate on crime prevention.

The Organized Retail Crime Alliance includes federal, state, and local agencies that investigate reports of crime from state to state.

Sheriff Matt Haley stated that deputies spotted Rivers fleeing towards the woods after responding to a welfare concern. Johansson's body was discovered in the vehicle.
