Despite hurricane, Florida gas prices down more than 8% compared to August | Florida

Florida’s prices are 10.4% lower than last year when regular gasoline was $3.50. Helene, a Category 4 hurricane, struck Dekle Beach, causing significant flooding but resulting in lower gas prices throughout affected areas. The lowest regional price is in Okaloosa County at $2.86, while the highest is $3.33 in Palm Beach County. Nationally, the cheapest gas is in Mississippi at $2.68, with California having the highest at $4.69.
