Angela Newindo reported that while the fridge and freezer operated, the control panel was broken, preventing any adjustments. Despite multiple repair appointments with Frigidaire that were canceled without notice, the family sought assistance from the news outlet, Contact. Following intervention, Electrolux, Frigidaire’s parent company, promised to resolve the issue, and Lowe’s ultimately agreed to refund Angela for the defective refrigerator. She has since purchased a new appliance from a local store and is satisfied.

“It sounds petty, but when you buy a refrigerator, you expect it to work right,” Angela Neuendorf said.

Neuendorf says the refrigerator she and her husband bought in February 2024 at the Lowe’s store in Festus has been a problem since day one. FOX 2’s Mike Colombo reports.
