Dennis Allen encouraged by new offense's progress
SUMMARY: The New Orleans Saints had a few days off between OTAs and mandatory mini camp. Notable players absent from the final OTA sessions were Marshon Lattimore, Alvin Kamara, and Tyrann Mathieu, all expected to attend the mini camp starting Tuesday. With a defense full of veteran talent, the offseason focus has shifted to the offense. Derek Carr and the team are learning Clint Kubiak's offensive system, a process showing daily progress according to Dennis Allen. The team's goal is to refine their skills, make necessary corrections, and avoid repeating past mistakes. They will resume field activities on Tuesday for the mini camp.
