Patrick Shegog led the charge with six touchdowns, and the team excelled across all areas. The Statesmen’s defense performed notably, creating turnovers and pressuring the opposing quarterback. Shegog’s receivers and running backs contributed to a well-rounded offensive display. Delta State will next host Valdosta State, a team they’ve beaten earlier in the season.
