Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin to undergo procedure at Walter Reed
SUMMARY: Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin will temporarily transfer power to Deputy Secretary Kathleen Hicks as he undergoes an elective procedure for bladder issues at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. The procedure is minimally invasive and unrelated to his previous prostate cancer diagnosis, which has not affected his excellent prognosis.
