SUMMARY: Dallas police arrested 50-year-old Jason Kane for shooting a 2-year-old girl in a road rage incident. The incident occurred when Kane, riding a motorcycle, allegedly fired into a family’s car that was delivering DoorDash after the family swerved to avoid hitting him. Witnesses reported seeing Kane pull a gun and fire two shots. The girl was hospitalized with injuries, while Kane attempted to deflect blame onto drug dealers nearby. He resisted arrest but ultimately complied. Kane faces serious charges, including injury to a child and aggravated assault. The girl’s condition is stable as investigations continue.

Police say a family on a Door Dash delivery turned onto a street where a man was riding his motorcycle. They swerved to avoid hitting him and honked. Police say he then turned around, pulled out a gun and fired into their car, hitting a 2-year-old girl in the backseat.

SUMMARY: President Donald Trump has officially declared an “invasion” at the U.S. southern border, issuing a proclamation to suspend entry and repel this invasion. This historic move follows similar declarations by 55 Texas counties and a formal opinion from Arizona’s former attorney general validating states’ rights to self-defense under the Constitution. Trump asserts that the federal government has failed to uphold its constitutional obligation to protect states from invasion. His proclamation, effective January 20, allows for the suspension of entry for individuals deemed part of this invasion, emphasizing the need for health and background checks and authorizing federal action to remove these individuals.
