SUMMARY: After the Cowboys’ humiliating 47-9 loss to the Lions, owner Jerry Jones lashed out during a radio interview, expressing frustration with questions about roster decisions and his head coach, Mike McCarthy. While acknowledging his disappointment, he insisted he wouldn’t entertain thoughts of firing McCarthy. Jones became defensive when hosts questioned his decisions and even threatened them, stating it’s not their role to judge him. His reaction drew criticism, as many felt he should take accountability rather than deflect blame. This outburst was seen as a departure from Jones’ typically more gracious interaction with the media and fans.

Advocates for abortion access argue UACs should receive taxpayer-funded abortions, citing exceptions under the Hyde Amendment. Critics, like Sheena Rodriguez of Alliance for a Safe Texas, demand transparency on the number of abortions performed on UACs, the costs, and the involvement of abortion-related organizations.
