SUMMARY: The Dallas Cowboys secured a commanding 33-17 victory over the Cleveland Browns in their season opener, bolstered by a ferocious defense that registered six sacks, notably led by Micah Parsons and DeMarcus Lawrence. The defense, orchestrated by Mike Zimmer, also forced negative plays on 50% of Cleveland’s snaps. While Dak Prescott, now the NFL’s highest-paid player, contributed to the win, the Cowboys’ offensive rhythm was subdued in the second half. Ezekiel Elliott scored his first touchdown in number 15, showing promise. Additionally, Tom Brady made his broadcast debut, displaying potential despite initial nerves. The Cowboys prepare to face the Saints next.

Former Dallas Cowboy Tony Casillas joins FOX 4’s Mike Doocy and Jeff Kolb to talk about the Cowboys steamrolling the Browns on the way for a win in Week 1. The crew talks about Dallas’ dominating defense under Mike Zimmer, how Brandin Cooks’ touchdown broke open the game and analysis of Tom Brady’s first game as a color commentator.
