Cruisin’ the Coast officials expecting over 10,000 registered cars
SUMMARY: Cruisin’ the Coast, Mississippi’s popular car show, is set to take place from Oct. 1-8. This year’s edition is expected to be the biggest yet, with organizers preparing for 10,000 people to register. So far, 8,515 vehicles have already been pre-registered from 43 states, Canada, and England. Entertainment for the event includes flame-throwing competitions, burnouts, and performances from The Beach Boys and The Blues Brothers Soul Band. Cruisin’ the Coast has been named America’s best car show by USA Today for four of the last five years. Room reservations can still be made for those interested in attending.

Mississippi Science Fest returns this week with events in Jackson, Meridian, and Indianola
