Construction on Mississippi’s first Topgolf to begin by end of year
SUMMARY: Construction for Mississippi’s first Topgolf venue is scheduled to begin by the end of the year, with the groundbreaking set to occur in the next 60 days. The facility will be located in Ridgeland and will feature 60 climate-controlled outdoor hitting bays, a chef-driven menu, top-shelf drinks, music, and year-round programming. It will also be equipped with Topgolf’s proprietary Toptracer technology. The venue is expected to employ approximately 200 people. In addition to the Topgolf facility, there are plans to construct hotels, retail stores, restaurants, and more in the area.

Ole Miss great Eli Manning announced as modern-era finalist for Pro Football Hall of Fame
SUMMARY: Eli Manning, former Ole Miss and New York Giants quarterback, has been named one of 15 modern-era finalists for the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s Class of 2025. Alongside Terrell Suggs, five first-year eligibles include Luke Kuechly, Adam Vinatieri, and Marshal Yanda. Manning, who won two Super Bowls and ranks eleventh all-time in passing yards (57,023) and touchdowns (366), enjoyed a 16-year career with a 118-118 record. His accolades include jersey retirements by Ole Miss and the Giants, and induction into various halls of fame. The Class of 2025 will be revealed on February 6, 2025.
